A holiday at Près De La Forêt is an ideal way to experience la vie francaise - village
life in a typical French country village.
Our house is a comfortable family home with private gardens back and front, 3 bedrooms and plenty of living space. There’s direct access to a balcony from the kitchen, living room and main bedroom. This is the place to breakfast outdoors or loaf peacefully with a book.
A short walk will take you to the bakery for a baguette
or some croissants, to the cafe for an aperitif at noon,
or you could stroll to the excellent village restaurant
for a superb dinner. Of course, you could always
stay in and take advantage of the fully equipped
kitchen, with microwave, electric hob and cooker,
dishwasher, toaster, kettle and fridge.
There’s lots to see and do locally, too. Explore
the famous “7 Valleys” with their clear streams
and pretty hamlets, visit famous battlefields, browse
the stalls in the local market, walk the ramparts
of a medieval fortified town, buy fish on the quayside
direct from the boat...
